All right YMPMer’s, wow that was weird, we have a good plan for the next 3 months. First off lets talk Sunday nights.

We will start with a series based on the question, “How to make reading the Bible a part of our daily walk with God?” This will be a three week series and will take us through the end of April. After that, we will turn our attention to a study on how to get “Rich.” This is referring to spiritual richness not financial, so don’t worry, not budget tutorials. This study will be four weeks long and take us through May. The third study we have lined up was inspired by the current sermon series on favorite verses, or verses that changed our lives. This study will be three weeks long and take us through June. So there you go. If you are doing your math at home, or own a calendar, you know that that was not enough weeks to fill up all those months. (good observation) There are a few Sundays we will not have class. They are: April 12 (Easter), May 10 (Mothers Day), and June 21 (Fathers Day).

Also, There are two nights other than Sunday that we decided to have a CDS (Community Development Session) April 25 and May 23. Still thinking about June.

As for Thursday nights, we will continue our trek through our book which should take us till the end of May. Also, we will continue to serve at Haven once a month.

Thats it for now. Please check in frequently and ask questions at anytime. Our calendar will have all this information as well. (linked at the right)

Wow. 2009.

2009 marks the 3rd anniversary since YMPM started. As the leader & teacher I want to say thank you to all of you that make our class what it is. Your commitment to attend and to each other has helped us grow and see Christ in action in each others’ lives. Thank You All.

On Sunday January 3rd we took the time to reflect on why it is we do this. The long & short of it is that we need each other.

Click to view the presentation from our first week of 2009.

Coming up this year we have some exciting series planned. Our first series of the year is called Dealing with Difficult People – A simple guide to dealing with the needy, manipulative, hypocritical, and overly critical people that drive you crazy every day.

We hope you’ll join us each Sunday. Our weekly Bible Study also kicks into gear again after the holidays starting mid-January. As always use the contact link to send any questions.

God Bless,

The YMPM Leadership Team

May 25 – TXT: Is the Bible Reliable?
We’ll look at some interesting facts about the Bible, see how historians measure the accuracy and reliability of documents and see how the Bible stacks up.

June 1 – TXT: Studying God’s Word
In the final week we’ll explore what is said regarding the studying of scripture, how it can and will affect our lives and look at some ways to put what we’ve learned into practice in our daily life.
